A little boy by the name of Sawyer is our inspiration. He is the first child we had the opportunity to send on an adventure. Sawyer was your “average American kid” – sweet, kind, loved his family and loved baseball.
This summer, it appeared difficult for Alan to attend camp. Get Stuff Done 4 KIDS sponsored both Alan and his sister, Rebecca, for 11 weeks of camp. Both children had another great summer!
Jerry, or JJ, as he likes to be called was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoblastic lymphoma in March of 2010 after an accident in Kindergarten led to the discovery of cancer in his knee. JJ received two years of chemotherapy at Duke Children's Hospital.
